To build up and further develop our logistics department, we are looking for a Logistics Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible. Tasks, role and responsibilities
- You take over the management, control and optimization of the logistics department, as well as disciplinary responsibility for the employees
- The focus is on the operational handling of intralogistics: incoming goods, warehousing, order picking, production supply and outgoing goods
- You are responsible to build up the local logistics unit and support the operational daily business in the initial phase
- Additionally, you are responsible for the smooth implementation and optimization of internal logistics procedures and processes
- Furthermore, you will develop projects to increase efficiency and implement strategically necessary measures (expansion of the logistics concept, use of optimized equipment, establishment of key figures, software, etc.).
- In addition, you will be responsible for the further expansion of the logistics department at the location as well as the qualification of employees and forming a "winning team"
- You focus on efficient processes that meet the highest standards of quality, delivery capability and adherence to deadlines
Required qualifications
- You have a degree in logistics, business administration or a comparable qualification
- You have already gained more than three years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in the automation and electrical industry
- You also have knowledge and experience in managing employees
- You have in-depth knowledge of logistics and business management
- You have experience in working with ERP systems and knowledge of SAP WM
- Business fluent in English, a confident manner in an international context and a willingness to travel round off your profile
In the event of minor deviations, the requirements can also be met through relevant professional experience or further qualification.
