ME and ME MAX electronic housings reduce the wiring effort with the integrated DIN rail bus and modular design. Comprehensive accessories and diverse adaptation options, including the housing width, extend the range of individual housing solutions.
Housing made from easy-to-assemble modular system
The housing can be opened conveniently during maintenance or service actions by simply pressing on the latching hook, for example by using a screwdriver.
The 5-position DIN rail connector is used for power supply as well as for serial and parallel data transmission. It is mounted in the DIN rail and enables efficient module communication with five parallel or four parallel and one serial contact. This means that several mounted modules can be connected. When an individual device is removed from the assembly, the contact chain with parallel contacts is not interrupted. With five gold-plated contacts, transmissions up to 8 A and 125 V are possible.
ME bus housings are versions of the ME modular electronic housings with an integrated cross-connection. Versions with 5- and 10-position parallel contacts as well as with two additional serial contacts enable extensive application possibilities. Versions with a functional ground contact integrated into the base of the housing allow you to connect the inserted PCB directly to the grounded DIN rail.
HS LC light guides for electronics housings are available in a variety of designs and are perfectly matched to the housings. The light guides are also resistant to ESD.
