CHARX connect advanced is the first CCS charging inlet with a directly integrated charging controller. The control unit is connected directly to the charging inlet both mechanically and electrically. This eliminates the need for external control devices and additional interfaces. The system architecture is simplified and the installation space is reduced. Communication between the vehicle and charging infrastructure takes place directly via the charging inlet. This facilitates integration into existing vehicle platforms and reduces the development effort for system integrators.

The new vehicle charging inlet can also be purchased without the controller as an option.
