Secure. Automated. Intelligent. – solutions for the industry of tomorrow

Modern machines require modular, open, and secure automation solutions that grow with them. Intelligent automation provides efficient, scalable processes, while security concepts protect OT infrastructures and ensure production reliability. AI applications enable predictive maintenance, optimized energy flows, and data-based decision-making for maximum productivity and resilience. This avoids downtime, reduces maintenance costs, and increases competitiveness.

Higher productivity, less complexity – with efficient processes in control cabinet building

The All Electric Society is driving electrification – and increasing the demand for control cabinets. If you want to remain competitive, you have to speed up processes and reduce costs. Digitalization and process automation are the levers for countering the growing shortage of skilled workers and ever shorter project times. Consistent workflows and scalable solutions ensure maximum efficiency, short production times, and particularly high process reliability – from small businesses to global players.

Seamless connection technology – from the control cabinet to the application for a networked industry

From device connection technology and wiring in the control cabinet to field cabling – terminal blocks and connection technology ensure the consistent, reliable transmission of signals, data, and power. Single Pair Ethernet optimizes data transmission and opens up new possibilities for industrial communication. These solutions enable flexible machine concepts and the integration of new technologies. At the same time, they address topics such as sustainability, digitalization, and security: Tool-free wiring, space-saving systems, and intelligent interfaces save resources and boost efficiency and value creation.

The history of the Hannover Messe

Origin

The self-proclaimed motto of the largest industrial trade fair in the world is “Tradition and Innovation”. It was established in 1947 as the “Hannover Export Fair 1947” under the banner of the German company Deutsche Messe- und Ausstellungs-AG, Hannover-Laatzen. After the Second World War, the new industrial trade fair was to provide a counterpoint to the Leipziger Messe in the former GDR and to emphasize the innovative power of West Germany.

Growing internationalization

As a venue for international contacts, the Hannover Messe quickly attracted attention from international guests. As early as 1950, there were exhibitors from ten different countries, one of these being the USA. Over the years, the trade fair has become increasingly international. The first partner country was Brazil in 1980. Since then, companies of a different country have presented their products each year.

The Hannover Messe today

Today, the leading trade fair is the barometer for technological developments. The exhibition is currently dominated by topics such as the Internet of Things, industrial digitalization, robotics and renewable energies. Numerous innovations for Industry 4.0 – the digital industrial revolution – will continue to be introduced over the next few years.
