INTERBUS controller boards for GE-Fanuc 90-70 series controllers
The IBS GE 90-70 SC/I-T controller board permits the INTERBUS system to be connected to GE Fanuc series 90-70 PLCs.
The GE 90-70 SC gives the user the option of arranging remote I/O modules wherever they are required in the application, by means of INTERBUS.
The GE Fanuc PLC is connected to the INTERBUS controller board directly via the standard P1 system connector on the VMEbus-compatible backplane of the PLC. The controller board provides a 256 kbyte data window for exchanging data between INTERBUS and the PLC.
Flexibility is also featured with the diagnostic options of INTERBUS controller boards. The INTERBUS system diagnostics is accessible from the application program using software in order to achieve a representation that is as close to the application as possible using standard visualization software. Furthermore, visual local diagnostics is available for service and maintenance tasks.
The system-specific parameter settings of the INTERBUS system or the controller board can be stored (centrally) in a parameterization memory card with PCMCIA format on the controller board.
The user-friendly IBS CMD SWT G4 software is available for creating the parameter data in the Windows operating system. In addition to parameterization, configuration, and system documentation, IBS CMD SWT G4 is a universal software package that provides the diagnostics of individual devices and of the entire INTERBUS system. Furthermore, the local status of the connected INTERBUS devices can be displayed while the system is in operation.
