New PP-RJ-... patch panel versions with IECEx and other approvals
Four PP-RJ-…-E versions have been added to the proven PP-RJ-… series of patch panel devices from Phoenix Contact. The new models are functionally identical to the previous versions, but offer clear added value: They have all the relevant approvals such as UL, UL HazLoc, DNV-GL, ATEX, and now also IECEx.
With IECEx approval, the PP-RJ-...-E patch panel versions extend their scope of use to include potentially explosive applications in international environments. Along with this addition, the existing ATEX and UL HazLoc approvals, as well as the DNV shipbuilding approval, have also been bundled into these new versions. This creates a clear differentiation from the standard PP-RJ-… patch panels: Users who do not require additional certifications continue to benefit from the proven functionality with optimized cost structures.
For demanding applications, the new PP-RJ-...-E versions are now available with a complete approval package. All models ensure a reliable and efficient connection between the field cabling and the control cabinet. They remain fully compatible with the existing infrastructure.
