To strategically expand Phoenix Contact’s global production network, improve supply chains, and be even closer to its target markets, the company has expanded its production network on the American continent. Production has now begun at the site in Querétaro, Mexico, as part of the first phase of construction.
To further advance open, interoperable building automation, Phoenix Contact and Symcon have entered into a technology partnership. The goal of this collaboration is to provide planners, system integrators, and electrically skilled persons with an efficient path from hardware through software to ongoing operation.

It was specifically developed for use in zone 2 potentially explosive areas. The device also has IECEx and ATEX approval and therefore meets international safety requirements.

The new all-in-one solution offers cost-optimized and time-efficient installation that is specifically tailored to the customer’s needs.
