As the stage for the CharIN Conference held from September 22 to September 25, 2026, the Phoenix Contact headquarters in Blomberg, Germany became the gathering place for an international network dedicated to the further development of charging infrastructure. The international event, which drew more than 350 participants, made it clear that the future of e-mobility extends far beyond the transportation sector and will continue to be developed as an integral part of a connected and sustainable energy system.

Under the slogan “Connect what matters”, Phoenix Contact will showcase technologies and solutions for the electrical and digital world of tomorrow at electronica 2026 in Munich from November 10 to 13. The focus is on high-performance connections for power, data, and signals. They lay the foundation for electrification, digitalization, and more efficient processes in industry, infrastructure, and mobility, thereby making an important contribution to the overarching topic of “Empowering the All Electric Society”.

A standardized pin connector pattern for Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) lays the foundation for consistent Ethernet communication all the way down to the field level. Standardization based on IEC 63171-7 increases planning certainty for device manufacturers and users and supports cross-manufacturer interoperability of SPE applications.

Phoenix Contact is expanding its Heavycon portfolio of heavy-duty connectors with new partially gold-plated crimp contacts in the CK1,6 series. The stamped and rolled contacts combine optimized gold plating with high process reliability, reduced costs, and the ability to be processed automatically.

Phoenix Contact is extending its portfolio of device connections featuring Push-X technology to include the new DXPC 1,5 double-level PCB connector and the XPT 1,5 and XPT 2,5 PCB terminal blocks.

Phoenix Contact is extending its IPD installation system with new installation connectors and distribution boards for small conductor cross-sections starting from 0.25 mm². The compact components enable fast, tool-free power distribution where space is at a premium and are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
