Maximum availability and increasing efficiency are the focus of every machine and system operator. Regulations are often seen as an obstacle, even though they also open up opportunities for increasing production efficiency. Machines and systems that have been used for many years are often operated beyond their usual service life, since their use has been proven and they are still economical. Adapting them to the sometimes more modern production environment is just one challenge that operations managers and production managers master. Recording the machine data of older systems and making it transparent is just as much a part of the job as the combined analysis of this and other data. In addition, there are increasing demands for greater sustainability and an improved ecological balance for production.
