Highly compact circuit breaker
PLC-Interface from Phoenix Contact offers the innovative combination of a relay interface and circuit breaker in an overall width of just 6.2 mm, thus saving valuable space in the control cabinet. The nominal current and shutdown behavior can be configured individually via DIP switches on the device.
Manual configuration enables various tripping characteristics, such as “Fuse mode” (shutdown after overcurrent) or “Hiccup mode” (cyclic automatic restart attempt), to be set and also allows the tripping thresholds to be set between 1...6 A in increments of 1 A. The physical overload shutdown of a channel is indicated visually and via remote signaling. An active diagnostic output provides a reliable status message to the higher-level controller.
