Fieldbus modular device couplers can now be installed with an intrinsically safe electrical connection next to a non-intrinsically safe electrical connection. The partition plate provides the required 50 mm spacing when using Zone 2 installed device couplers with an intrinsically safe output in the same enclosure as non-intrinsically safe Zone 2 installed device couplers.
