The Inline servo amplifier IB IL EC AR 48/10A can be operated even without a bus connection and before the implementation of the control program of the machine or system via a serial interface with the aid of the startup and diagnostics software (stand-alone model).
The Inline servo amplifier is programmed using a script language that provides various commands for reading and writing all parameters. The software has an oscilloscope function for the evaluation and additional optimization of the controller parameter settings. This function enables the time curves of up to four parameter values to be recorded in realtime and to be graphically displayed following the execution of a script. Recording can be controlled by the standard functions of a digital oscilloscope, such as trigger point, trigger delay, sampling period or number of samples. Using the waveforms, the reference behavior of the controller can then be analyzed and any vibrations in the closed-loop control circuit can be detected. Using the information acquired, the controller parameters are adjusted until the desired control behavior is obtained.
As an alternative to the oscilloscope function, the user can also view up to 16 tabulated randomly selectable parameters. The updating interval of the parameter values can be set in stages between 1 s and 60 s.
The parameters determined by this method can then be stored in a file on the connected PC for data backup and later be restored from the file in the device, when required.
