Our commitment in France In France, we naturally support the initiatives of our parent company. Our Edunet network has been built up over the past 7 years, with 6 partner universities. At the same time, we are developing our own initiatives, such as partnering national or regional competitions in conjunction with the French Ministry of Education, providing information/training on new technologies for teachers, developing a certification program in automation, etc. We are always ready to provide advice, technical and financial support to all those involved in education.

 Edunet 2022 Conference

Edunet 2022 Conference After 2 years of remote conferences, we are particularly proud to have organized the annual Edunet conference in France.

Nearly 50 teacher-researchers were able to take part in this event, despite the still uncertain covid context.
It was an opportunity for EDUNET members to discuss the projects developed over the year with their students, as well as current topics such as industry 4.0, energy, e-mobility and industrial cybersecurity.
Held on the premises of Phoenix Contact France's new head office, the teachers were able to discover, among other things, a technology pathway implementing Phoenix Contact solutions in building management.

Club EEA

PHOENIX CONTACT France partner of Club EEA Club for Teachers and Researchers in Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Automation

Since 1962, the Club EEA has brought together all teaching and research staff from the Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Signal and Image communities, organized around these four disciplines.
Structured around 3 commissions (Teaching, Research and International Relations), its main objective is to contribute to the dynamism of our community by giving colleagues the means to inform, exchange and work together.
Since 2019, Phoenix Contact France has been a partner of the national "Mon projet en 5 minutes" competition as a member of the jury.
The "MON PROJET EN 5 MINUTES" competition, open to all schools in France, is a great way to showcase student science and technology projects, as well as raise awareness of training courses and schools in the EEA field.

In a 5-minute film, students present the objectives and achievements of a project that the teacher has carried out with his or her students. The competition is open to post-baccalaureate courses in EEA-related fields. Two categories: Bac +2, 3; Bac +4, 5.
For the best videos, the selected students will have to come and defend their project in front of professionals at the Grand Final, which will take place in Reims for this 2023 edition.

Certification PLCnext

PLCnext certification | Class of 2022 Valuing students' work

As an Edunet member, our partners can offer their students PLCnext certification based on knowledge and use of our latest industrial PLC.

Organized in collaboration with the teacher, PLCNEXT certification is based on 2 tests:

  • A practical test: in class with the teacher, in the form of a project
  • A theoretical test: online, organized by PHOENIX CONTACT

The aim of this certification is to enhance the value on the job market of students trained in the classroom with cutting-edge automation technologies.
In 2022, our two partners Edunet IUT de l'Indre, and HEI - Etudes d'Ingénieur awarded this certification to their students. The graduation ceremony took place in the presence of the recipients, followed by a congratulatory cocktail lunch.
