The xplore New Automation Award is an international technology and educational competition organized by Phoenix Contact, open to technology enthusiasts of all ages and educational levels. Teams of schoolchildren, students, apprentices and young professionals creatively explore the subject of automation technology, working together to develop innovative solutions in various fields.

A winner in each category
xplore New Automation Award supports teams around the world with products worth 3,000 euros for individual projects and 4,000 euros for team projects.
The competition is divided into five categories: Smart Factory, Environment, Urban Infrastructure, Recreation, Infinity.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each category.
The best teams in each category will be present at the project presentation at Bag Pyrmont.
An independent panel of judges from industry, academia and the media awards the winners.
The winners of the xplore New Automation Award will present their projects at Hannover Messe, the world's largest industrial trade fair.
Roland Bent, Head of Marketing and Development at Phoenix Contact, will chair the event. The event is held under the patronage of the French Ministry of the Economy and Energy.
