Overview of sustainable identification solutions
Mark your control cabinet sustainably!
Cable markers for fastening with cable ties
The UCT-WMTBA.../GP cable markers are suitable for marking and bundling wires and cables using standard cable ties. Due to their angled shape, the markers fit perfectly onto the cables.
Marker carriers for cable marking
The KMK.../GP marker carriers are used to mark and bundle cables, such as supply lines to the control cabinet, signal and control lines, or pneumatic hoses in systems. A marked marking label, such as US-EMP.../GP or EMT.../GP, is inserted into the KMK.../GP and protected by the sealing cap. KMK.../GP is available in two different sizes and with or without an integrated cable tie.
Wire-wrap labels
The WML.../GP wrap-around labels are used to mark cylindrical objects, individual wires, and cables. Labels are affixed at a fixed position and wrapped around using the integrated protective laminate. The wrap-around labels do not create any additional volume, so wires and cables can be pulled through cable ducts without any problems. WML.../GP are available for various cable diameter ranges.
Clip-on cable markers
The UCT-WMCO.../GP cable markers are used for the identification of wires and cables by simply clipping them on. This way, wires that have already been installed can be marked retrospectively. Thanks to their tight fit, they easily withstand vibrations in machines and systems.
Snap-in or adhesive labels for buttons and switches
The US-EMP.../GP labels are used for the identification of components such as switches and buttons and are snapped into the CARRIER-EMP 22 marker carriers. Alternatively, the US-EMLP.../GP and LS-EMLP.../GP adhesive labels as well as the EML.../GP adhesive labels are also suitable for this application.
Slide-on cable markers
The WMT.../GP cable markers are used to mark signal and control lines in the control cabinet. The wire is pushed through the two punch-outs on the marker. The special hole geometry for different wire diameters ensures strong axial support.
Flexible cable markers for fastening with cable ties
The WMTB.../GP cable markers are used to mark and bundle cables, such as supply lines to the control cabinet, signal and control lines, or pneumatic hoses in systems. The flexible material fits on the cable and is attached with a standard cable tie.
Marker for insertion into cable marking sleeves
The UCT-WMT.../GP markers are used for the identification of individual wires and cables. They are inserted into the marking tags of the PATG (HF)... /PATO... system and thus protected against external influences.
Prepunched adhesive marking label
The US-EMLP.../GP marking label is a self-adhesive device marker with high adhesive strength. The adhesive label can be used as a rating plate for the identification of control cabinets, machines, and systems.
Prepunched adhesive label for rating plates
The EML (85,6X54)R/GP adhesive labels are self-adhesive device markers for use as classic rating plates for control cabinets, machines, and systems.
Adhesive label for devices and terminal strip markers
The EML.../GP adhesive labels are suitable for equipment identification, e.g., for relays, contactors, motor circuit breakers, and power supply units as well as for the KLM terminal strip markers for CLIPFIX end brackets. Alternatively, the LS-EMLP (20X8)/GP adhesive label is also used for these applications.
Terminal markers for tall and flat marking grooves
The UCT-TM(F).../GP terminal markers can be used to mark Phoenix Contact terminal blocks in various pitches. The UCT-TM.../GP markers are suitable for snapping into tall marking grooves, while the UCT-TMF.../GP snap into flat marking grooves.
Rating plate for sticking on or in combination with marker carrier
The LS-EMLP (85,6X54)/GP adhesive label for direct laser marking can be used as a universal rating plate for control cabinets, machines, and systems. Application is possible by simply sticking on or in combination with the CARRIER-EMP (85,6X54) marker carrier.
Marking label for latching
The UCT-EM (30X5)/GP marker is suitable for the identification of components in the control cabinet, e.g., for signal conditioners from the MINI MCR... product family or for marking the CLIPFIX 35-5... end bracket.
Snap-in marker for various devices with marking groove
The UCT-EM (20X9)/GP marker is suitable for snapping into devices from various manufacturers that have a marking groove.
Marker for components with flat marking groove
The UCT-TMF 12/GP terminal marker is suitable for the identification of components with a flat marking groove, e.g., for device circuit breakers or FLASHTRAB and VALVETRAB surge protection plugs.
Marker for components with tall marking groove
The UCT-TM 12/GP terminal marker is suitable for the identification of components with a tall marking groove, e.g., for RIFLINE relays or CAPAROC circuit breakers.
Marker for terminal blocks and components with tall marking groove
The UCT-TM 16/GP terminal marker is suitable for the identification of terminal blocks and components by simply snapping it into a tall marking groove, e.g., in the XTV 16 feed-through terminal block or in RIFLINE relays.
Adhesive labels for equipment marking
The EML (15X6)R/GP adhesive label is used for the space-saving identification of devices, e.g., for relays, contactors, motor circuit breakers, and power supply units.
Terminal marking for snapping into a tall marker groove
The UCT-TM 10/GP terminal marker is suitable for the identification of terminal blocks with a large installation width and tall marking groove, e.g., for the PTPOWER 95 high-current terminal block.
We develop sustainable marking materials holistically. From raw material sources derived from waste materials and cutting-waste-optimized product design to production using existing tools and green electricity. This is how we combine innovation with responsible action for a more climate-friendly future.
FAQs about sustainable marking materials
Our sustainable markings are made from bio-circular and circular raw materials. Bio-circular materials come from biological waste materials such as used cooking oils, food waste, agricultural by-products, or tall oil. Circular materials are based on high-quality recycling. They include recycled plastics from existing plastic waste, used tires, textile waste as well as offcuts and production residues from our own manufacturing processes. This approach enables us to reduce waste and cut resource consumption.
The raw materials for our sustainable marking materials are obtained from waste materials, residual materials, and high-quality recycled materials. These raw materials can be integrated into existing plastic materials without any loss of quality because they offer the same technical properties as conventional plastics. You receive products that are just as reliable as before and have a much better environmental footprint. By using sustainable plastics, you are actively helping to strengthen the circular economy and reduce carbon emissions.
In addition to recycling, carbon harvesting is a promising approach where CO₂ is extracted directly from the air and used as a raw material for new materials. This process makes it possible to capture CO₂ that has already been emitted and convert it into plastics or chemical base materials. This creates an alternative carbon source that is independent of fossil resources and can contribute to CO₂ reduction in the long term. Although the technology is still energy-intensive and expensive, it shows great potential. Carbon harvesting will become an important component of climate-friendly plastics production in the future.
ISCC PLUS is an internationally recognized sustainability certification that verifies that renewable, bio-based, or circular raw materials are used in the manufacture of our products. From the origin of the raw material to the finished product, the entire supply chain is certified in a transparent, credible, and traceable manner. This is how we ensure that the materials we use do not come from problematic sources, but have been obtained in an ecologically and socially responsible manner.
We are steadily expanding our sustainable product range, but not according to the principle of “as much as possible”, but rather “as much as necessary”. For us, sustainability means more than just using alternative materials: We take a holistic view of products and implement targeted measures to reduce CO₂ and improve resource efficiency. Together with our customers, we only develop products that offer real added value. This allows our sustainable portfolio to grow in a practical, demand-oriented, and ecologically sound manner.
