The IBS IP CDIO/R 24... modules are available as an input/output unit for the robot concept. The metal housing allows them to be used in welding applications. The module can be used directly on the welding transformer if it is mounted on a terminal box. The modules are connected via a 17-pin circular connector. In addition to the INTERBUS and power supply lines, this connector also carries two further signal lines for constant current regulation (CCR) and for secondary circuit monitoring (SCM). These signals are looped in on the underside of the .../SF devices and are needed at the welding current controller for control and monitoring tasks.
Two module types are available:
The IBS IP CDIO 24-8 ... module has 8 channels that can be used either as inputs or as outputs.
The IBS IP CDIO 24-12/4/8 .. module has 12 inputs and 8 outputs.
