Connect the components of your automation system quickly and without errors
The ELCO/EDAC system cables are primarily used for interfacing between system and marshalling cabinets in typical PLC or DCS projects. They are compatible with EDAC connectors from the 516 series or ELCO connectors from the 8016 series. These cables transmit digital or analog signals to and from a control system. These highly flexible, pre-assembled multicore cables are available with ELCO/EDAC socket-type connectors at both ends or with open leads on one end. The cables are of the shielded type and include a 1.0 mm² shield lead (GN/YE) that is 0.5 m long at both ends.
- Two core types are available: 38-position and 56-position.
- The length of the cable can be ordered in increments of 5 meters.
- The length and configuration of the cable can be customized according to customer requirements.
- The cables are available in standard versions (PVC) or halogen-free.
- Cables used with standard EDAC/ELCO systems are UL-recognized.

ELCO/EDAC Interface Modules
These modules can be used to connect connectors of the pin strip type 8016 series of ELCO or pin strip type 516 series of EDAC connectors to screw connection terminal blocks. Thanks to the slanted placement of the ELCO/EDAC connector, the cables that are fed out of the side of the cable housing are led away without affecting the neighboring modules. Two types of interface modules are available: 38-pos. and 56-pos., with two styles of orientation, left and right.
