Modes for the web server

The device supports 3 different operating modes for the web server:

  • Active
  • Active (read only)
  • Inactive

Navigation on the display

“System, WBM (web based management)”

Menu: System, PIN active/WBM active
Menu: “System, WBM”

Setting: System, WBM
Setting: “System, WBM”

If you select WBM “Inactive”, the device no longer allows access to the web server.
If you select WBM “Active (Read only)”, the web server is accessible, but a login is not possible and therefore no settings in the webserver can be made.

WBM “Inactive” and WBM “Active (Read only)” preclude use of the function for deactivating the control buttons. The display and web server cannot be deactivated (or set to read only mode) simultaneously.

Note: By deactivating the web server port 80 is blocked. The REST API is also affected by this and will not be accessible.
