Data Exchange with Other Applications

Data exchange is possible with the following applications:

Import/Export from/to... Description

EPLAN Electric P8 Bidirectional data exchange. Import and export via add-on.

EPLAN Pro Panel Unidirectional data exchange. Import via add-on.

Import from PROJECT complete planning/CLIP project planning You can import your existing planning projects in cxE just by opening the klp project file. The project is then "upgraded" for use in cxE.
In some cases, not all elements of the old project can be imported correctly into cxE. After each import, an upgrade log informs you about the import result for each element.

Export to PROJECT complete marking INTERFACES > EXPORT | PROJECT complete marking
You can export the marking information to a klm file for use in PROJECT complete marking.

Note
The export is not started if you project does not contain any markings.

Export to MARKING system INTERFACES > EXPORT | MARKING system
You can export (transfer) all labels used in cxE with content to MARKING system.

Export to ECAD INTERFACES > EXPORT | ECAD
You can export your project to an XML file for use in other ECAD applications. The file contains all project data.
