The ME series is ideal for current transformer (CT) shorting applications.
 

Phoenix Contact introduces the ME series of test disconnect terminal blocks, the latest addition to the CLIPLINE Complete solution. These terminal blocks allow for easy and individually configurable current transformer (CT) test and measurement functions. ME test disconnect terminal blocks, ground (PE) and feed-through terminal blocks all have the same pitch and profile. All are available with UT screw, ST spring-cage and DT push-in connection technologies.

A key feature is the screw-free disconnect lever that provides visual indication of the switch’s position. The switch position is clearly printed on the switching mechanism.
 

The ME series blocks are used wherever high currents must be reduced using current transformers, and where high voltages are reduced with voltage transducers. ME series terminals provide disconnect capability between the measuring transducers and the safety equipment (protective relays). To accomplish this important function, switchable ME test disconnect terminal blocks are placed before the meter for measurement and maintenance.

This new series of test blocks is part of the CLIPLINE complete system, employing standardized bridging, marking and testing accessories that can be used across all connection technologies.
