The device circuit breakers of the CB product range feature a compact design with precise nominal current levels. Thermomagnetic and electronic device circuit breakers
have a sophisticated remote signaling concept, which enables location-independent remote function monitoring.

These device circuit breakers have modular and plug-in designs. This enables circuits to be installed with base elements in advance. The circuit breakers required can be selected at a later date, and plugged into the pre-installed base elements. If changes to the system influence the nominal current of the protected circuits, a circuit breaker plug can be replaced without any wiring involved.

The flexible installation concept of modular device circuit breakers offers unlimited potential applications. The single channel design enables various safety values to be combined across the entire available range.

The base elements are equipped with screw terminal blocks and push-in connection. Conductor connection is easy with modern push-in connection technology and saves time during installation.

Solid conductors or conductors with ferrules can be inserted into the conductor shaft without any tools. The contact spring opens automatically once pressed gently. This then presses the conductor against the current bar. Conductors from 0.12 mm² to 6 mm² can easily be connected using push-in technology. Alternatively, the base element can be used, as well as with screw connection technology.

Jumpers for potential distribution in the case of series installation

The seamless bridging concept makes wiring the same type of potential in circuit breaker groups incredibly easy. With the help of jumpers, fast and individual potential distribution can be implemented in a series installation of device circuit breakers.

By means of double bridging, the supply can be subjected to 41 A. Even telecommunications connections with jumpers can be easily connected to one another in this way.

Device circuit breaker board for thermomagnetic circuit breakers

The multi-channel device circuit breaker boards are used in standard production of machines or in control and process technology, for example. In the case of unchanged recurring applications, such pre-assembled multi-channel versions can be easily integrated into a system concept.

Due to the central potential distribution, installation time is reduced to a minimum. The boards can be individually fitted with thermomagnetic circuit breakers and can therefore be used in a wide range of applications. They offer connection terminal blocks for up to five loads per mode of protection. The boards therefore combine the advantages of the CB TM1... device circuit breaker series with easy and space-saving potential distribution.
