National Engineers Week

Celebrate Awesome:
National Engineers Week

February 17-23, 2013

Engineers are changing the world all the time. They invent, design and create practical solutions to problems we all face.

Phoenix Contact’s 90 years of success are built upon the innovative designs of our engineering team. Each February, we celebrate their contributions by participating in National Engineers Week. The week also serves as a catalyst for outreach about engineering to kids and adults alike.

As always, Phoenix Contact has a full line-up of activities planned for this year’s celebration (February 17-23).

  • Nanoline Contest Judging: We challenge students to create an automation system using our Nanoline controller.
  • Engineers teach science class at Middletown Area Middle School
  • Engineering Lunch and Learn: A chance for Phoenix Contact’s non-engineer employees to learn about their colleagues’ jobs
  • Engineering Awards Banquet: A dinner to honor our engineers for their achievements over the past year
