Lock & Release locking

Secure connection in a matter of seconds, thanks to Lock & Release locking

The Lock & Release lever system automatically locks the plug-in connector onto the pin strip when inserted. Simply push the lever to release.

Wire the conductors with screw connection or push-in technology.

The following product series are available with Lock & Release:

  • MSTB, 2 to 20-pos. with screw connection
  • DFMC, double connection, up to 40-pos., with push-in spring connection
  • FKC, 2 to 20-pos., with push-in spring connection

Connect PCB plug-in connectors to pin strips with snap-lock mechanism quickly and securely.

The optional snap-lock mechanism of the PTS series prevents unintentional release of the plug as a result of vibrations. This is particularly significant for plugs with a small number of positions. Color coding prevents mismatching.

The PTS plug also features a compact design and push-in connection. The pin strips with snap-lock mechanism and the PTS plugs are available with 2 to 12-pos.

Tool-free, completely automatic – Click & Lock

Click & Lock offers a high level of safety, even in the event of vibrations:

  1. Locking is tool-free and automatic when plugging: simply push in the connector until an audible "click" is heard.
  2. To unlock, push the side actuating elements forwards.
  3. Once the actuating elements have been pushed forwards, pull the connector out of the header.

The following product series are available with Click & Lock:

  • PC 5, 2-pos to 12-pos.
  • SPC 5, 2-pos. to 12-pos.
  • TSPC 5, 2-pos. to 12-pos.

With the self-locking flange mechanism, PCB plug-in connectors are automatically locked onto the header or plug-in connector when inserted. A vibration-resistant connection is thereby established.

The following product series are available with self-locking flange mechanism:

  • FMC, 2 to 20-pos., with push-in spring connection
  • FKC, 2 to 18-pos., with push-in spring connection

The classic solution: the screw flange. Screw your plug-in connector onto the header with absolute reliability via the bore holes at either side.

Screw flange locking is available for virtually all COMBICON plugs.
