Phoenix Contact will exhibit at the Offshore Technology Conference.

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Phoenix Contact will exhibit products and solutions for the oil and gas industry at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2012, April 30 through May 3 at Reliant Park in Houston. The company’s booth (5617) will showcase its expertise in both offshore and onshore applications, with a focus on control, wireless and surge protection.

OTC is the premier event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production and environmental protection.

On-site demonstrations include:

  • A dynamic fluid pump application using the Contactron 4-in-1 motor controllers and motor manager
  • A wellhead data logger demonstration using Phoenix Contact’s wired and WirelessHART products

Visitors can use an on-site iPad to browse the company’s new website, test the catalog app or request literature for immediate download. The available literature includes a brand new white paper, “The use of surge protective devices in mitigating the effects of lightning strikes in offshore oil applications.”

Other highlights on display include Phoenix Contact’s extensive line of products for Foundation Fieldbus infrastructure, Ethernet products, safety, power and connectivity solutions.
