Transportation engineers can learn about Big Data and IIoT at free symposium in Central Pennsylvania

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. –Today’s complex transportation infrastructure comes with many new challenges, such as harnessing Big Data, connecting to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and preventing cyber-threats. To help transportation engineers address these issues, Phoenix Contact USA will host a free technical symposium, “Maintaining Integrity of Infrastructure Data during Multimodal Data Mash-up.”

The event will be held Thursday, June 16, at Phoenix Contact’s U.S. headquarters, 586 Fulling Mill Road, Middletown, Pa. Speakers at the symposium will address topics relevant to transit agencies, airports, and roadways.
