Technology Tuesday: Photovoltaic installations


Free seminar in San Jose focuses on reliability, safety, and performance of solar power installations

Middletown, Pa. – Phoenix Contact customers and distributors in the Silicon Valley can learn how to maximize reliability, safety, and performance of photovoltaic installations at Phoenix Contact’s upcoming “Technology Tuesday” seminar. The free event will be held on Tuesday, March 29, at Phoenix Contact’s San Jose Customer Technology Center, 181 Metro Drive, San Jose, Calif., 95110.

Participants will learn how DC installation errors can lead to losses and the pathways to resolve them. The course will also cover National Electrical Code (NEC) safety mandates, new rapid shutdown requirements for roof-top installations, and available solutions. Instructors will also discuss how DC array monitoring at the string level can provide early diagnostics and assist in improving the financial performance of your array. A discussion of AC power monitoring will round out the session.
