Phoenix Contact continues to introduce products that make your job easier; our new triple-rated hazardous location relays are no exception! These relays will allow you to standardize on one relay design for global applications.

The triple ratings include UL CID2 for use in North America, ATEX for use in Europe, and IECEx for hazardous location applications around the globe.

When used correctly, PLC../EX HazLoc relays are incapable of causing ignition that could lead to a deadly explosion. The potted relays eliminate the need for expensive explosion-proof/purged enclosures.

PLC../EX brings two firsts to the world of slim hazardous location relays: triple-approved, replaceable electro-mechanical options and PT push-in connections.  The expanded product range also includes new 14mm 10A offerings.

With just 24 new part numbers that can cover thousands of HazLoc applications virtually anywhere in the world, we offer our customers three distinct advantages: streamlined designs, simplified approval & document management, and reduced inventories/component counts
