Expand networks and the number of devices: with the PSI-REP repeater series, you can implement numerous installation concepts for practically all commonly used fieldbus systems.

Your advantages

  • Increased range and speed, thanks to network segmentation
  • Avoid compensating currents, thanks to high-quality electrical isolation between individual bus segments
  • Use of repeaters means you can have any network topology
  • Connect bus segments with different data rates using segment couplers

Smart solutions for CAN-based transmission systems

High-performance products for CAN-based transmission systems

Repeaters and segment couplers from Phoenix Contact enable you to implement interference-free, high-performance networks. Important requirements such as segmentation, electrical isolation, and network expansion can now be easily implemented. This means you can simultaneously increase the immunity to interference and availability of your systems.

The modular system for DeviceNet and CANopen consists of the following components.

  • The repeater connects two bus segments with the same data rate.
  • The segment coupler connects two bus segments with different data rates.
  • The modular bridge connects two bus segments using any infrastructure solutions. The bus segments can operate at different data rates.

Active termination for PROFIBUS and RS-485 networks

Active termination for PROFIBUS and RS-485 networks

Active bus termination for PROFIBUS and RS-485 networks

Actively terminate PROFIBUS and RS-485 networks with ease using the PSI-TERMINATOR-PB.

This gives you important advantages:

  • Interference-free bus communication despite bus devices that change, thanks to permanent bus termination
  • Fixed programming interface in the network
  • Redundant power supply

You use the D-SUB connection to supply active programming and diagnostics devices with power. You can also use the device as a defined service interface within a bus system.
