The page layout used within applications consists of the following elements:
|1. General page frame||See also "Website header with 1st level navigation"|
|2. Name of the application||Overall headline (application identifier). Area doesn´t change while using the application.|
|3. Optional help-function and /or contact||See also "Navigation". Area doesn´t change while using the application.|
|4. Application header||In this area the following elements are placed: The application navigation (A)|
If an additional process bar is needed, it will be placed below the application navigation. (B)
If there is no need for the application navigation only the process bar is placed here.
If none of these elements is needed a 1 pixel line is used as visual element to indicate the separation.
|5. Subtitle and sub-functions from selected application submenu||Subheadline for the actual step of the application|
Additional elements (e.g. help and contact person) are placed above and below the application header (C)
|6. Content-area with optional sub navigation||Application content itself. Can be structured by additional navigation types.|
