Green spaces

Phoenix Contact regards itself as being committed to environmental protection and the careful use of natural resources.

Keeping with this principle, green spaces have always been an integral element of factory grounds. They balance out built surfaces and are relaxing for employees.

The landscape architecture of the green spaces should preferably be based on geometric shapes. Paths and flower beds should be angular. The border strip around the building should be interrupted by tree clusters.

To avoid a barren feeling in winter, evergreen plants should be included. Grassed areas and plant species should be planted according to climatic conditions. Robust and low-maintenance species are recommended.

The company standard is paving made of gray stone with an angular shape. Large edge lengths are preferred as they create a strong visual statement.

Natural stone granulate on a concrete base is a very durable surface.
