The CBM multi-channel electronic device circuit breakers from Phoenix Contact protect circuits against overload and short-circuit currents on a width of just 41 mm.
The nominal current assistants simplify the setting of the required nominal currents for the load considerably. The two new device circuit breakers with four and eight channels also lock in the set nominal currents electronically. This prevents unwanted changes to the device. Nominal current increments from 0.5 A to 10 A per channel make it easier to select suitable protective devices. Multi-stage signaling provides permanent feedback on the status of the connected loads and the power supply of the circuit breaker itself. Overvoltages and undervoltages are detected and signaled by the circuit breaker and connected loads are disabled in a targeted manner. This signaling provides support for troubleshooting in downstream system parts.
