Phoenix Contact is expanding its range of robust HMIs and industrial PCs with high-performance industrial monitors.
The Basicline flat panel monitors can handle harsh industrial environments and can be used at ambient temperatures ranging from -10°C to +60°C. They are particularly suitable for environments where vibrations make it difficult to use complete panel PCs and this frequently results in system failures.
The monitors with multi-touch are offered with display dimensions of 39.6 cm (15.6''), 47 cm (18.5"), and 54.6 cm (21.5"). The projective-capacitive 10-point touchscreen enables the use of operating concepts based on gesture control. In addition to the scratch-proof glass surface, all monitors offer IP65 protection (on the front). They are used in machine-oriented operation and monitoring with quick response times, for example for inching mode and displaying curves. If space is limited, the devices can also be mounted vertically.
A lot of thought has gone into the mechanical design. The elegant, level front surface features a narrow 9 mm edge, which enables the monitors to be easily integrated into machine housing or a display panel. Mounting is easy with a variety of mounting kits and a holder which complies with the VESA 100 standard. The robust housing with short installation depth is made of metal, the front side is made of aluminum.
The LED backlighting is energy-saving, long-lasting, and highly luminous, even when used in a bright working environment. The widescreen monitors enable the display and user interface to be clearly presented. They offer high resolution and outstanding readability from all directions. The display settings can be adjusted using an OSD keypad located on the rear. Each monitor has a VGA, DVI-I, and a DP interface so they can also be integrated into existing systems with ease.
