Ursula Lampmann, Partner at Phoenix Contact, died on Friday in Blomberg at the age of 94.
Born in Essen, Ursula Lappman joined the company in 1937 and ran the commercial divisions of Phoenix Contact for over five decades in her role as Partner. Thanks in particular to her farsighted handling of finances, she contributed significantly to the company's growth, from its modest beginnings to becoming a global player in the industry.
With her friendly and outgoing nature and her invaluable commitment to the company, she shaped the corporate culture and spirit of Phoenix Contact. She retired in 1995. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral was held.
