Hand valves are used in large numbers in processing plants. Many existing systems have been operating successfully and effectively for years with hand valves. The monitoring of valve positions is playing an ever more important role in optimizing processing operations and in preventing incorrect operation.

Phoenix Contact provides you with a pre-assembled control box, which has special inputs for NAMUR sensors. The limit position switches of the hand valves are connected directly to these inputs. This provides you with an overview of the valve positions in the control room, and at the same time, ideal sensor diagnostics, including the cabling.
