The new Bluetooth access point transmits Ethernet data reliably to up to seven devices – 250 meters away and with up to three megabits per second.

With the new device, the advantages of Bluetooth technology are now also available for communication between controllers. Thanks to optimizations such as QoS (Quality of Service) and LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol), the Bluetooth access point is particularly suitable for Ethernet-based automation protocols such as PROFINET and PROFIsafe, EtherNet/IP™ or Modbus TCP.

Interference-free multipoint connection
The wireless module can operate up to seven Bluetooth connections in parallel and can be operated with all Bluetooth-compliant devices that support the PAN (Personal Area Network) profile.

Robust and flexible
With IP65 protection, an external antenna connection, and the omnidirectional antenna included, the compact and robust module supports flexible use. Due to its low power consumption of just 1.1 watts on average, it is particularly suitable for use in battery-powered systems.
