INTERBUS RT modules with digital inputs
INTERBUS RT input modules are designed as an inexpensive solution for use in machines and systems with few I/O needs. The design is very compact due to the integration of the remote interface into the modules.
The digital input modules are available with 16 or 32 inputs in the following voltage variants: 24 V, 120 V and 230 V.
The sensors are connected using 1, 2, 3 or 4-wire connections directly on the module, using either plug-in COMBICON screw or spring-cage terminal blocks. The individual terminal strips are coded in order to prevent any mix-up during installation.
The wiring is made pluggable by the use of plug-in terminal blocks and D-SUB connectors. The modules can be replaced quickly in case of a malfunction or for conversion.
Contact to protective earth ground is established automatically when the modules are snapped onto the DIN rails or mounted on a surface.
Matching bridging adapters are available for jumpering additional potential levels.
Status LEDs and bus diagnostic indicators provide information about the device status at all times.
All modules can be individually labeled on the large labeling field. Labeling on insert cards may be by hand, by printer or by plotter. Replacement labeling fields are available for all types of modules.
The INTERBUS OPTOSUB-PLUS connector is available for converting the data signals from copper cables to fiber optics.
