Electronic device circuit breakers

Electronic circuit breakers are often used in communication and automation technology. They are generally used in the connection to 24 V DC switched-mode power supply units.

The active current limitation limits the danger of a switched-mode power supply unit overload, if an error occurs in a connected circuit. The output voltage on the switched-mode power supply unit therefore remains in place and all other circuits continue to operate.
