Bidirectional point-to-point connection

One option for transmitting I/O signals wirelessly is to use a point-to-point connection in both directions. If the system is installed with this configuration, the signals connected, and the operating voltage applied, then the wireless connection is established automatically without any further settings.

If you have extended your system with additional I/O modules, they can be assigned to one another quickly via the address encoding switch on the front of the housing.

If you want to use your bidirectional wireless system with a point-to-multipoint configuration, this will result in a unidirectional wireless system, i.e., one transmitter and any number of receivers. In this configuration, the receiver stations are mirror images of the transmitter side.

The system can also be extended with I/O extension modules. This means, for example, that a signal path can be split or signals can be multiplied.

An address encoding switch on the front of the housing is used to assign the I/O modules to one another.

Use with a repeater

Do you want to increase your transmission range and reliably communicate over hills, for example? Then use our powerful repeaters. 

The set consists of three pre-configured transceivers, where the repeater is a transceiver with a special hopkey. If you connect several repeaters one after the other, the range will be multiplied.

Important: the repeater itself cannot receive or output signals. However, bidirectional data exchange is possible in a point-to-point connection with a repeater and I/O extension modules.
