Wireless technology for secure transmission: MOTR9

The RAD-ISM-900-EN-BD wireless module for Trusted Wireless Ethernet works with MOTR9 technology, i.e., with a digital signal processor (DSP) based on a 1 W transceiver. The device uses the license-free 900 MHz band and transmits data at adjustable data rates of up to 500 kbps and with variable packet sizes. The wireless system features outstanding immunity to interference and can be protected against unauthorized access by means of additional 128/192/256-bit AES encryption.

Rugged technology in compact housing

When used in industrial environments, the wireless modules are subjected to high levels of interference. In order to ensure reliable communication even under these conditions, you need a rugged wireless system.

By using several filter stages and frequency conversions you can increase the sensitivity, selectivity, and signal/noise ratio significantly.

This results in longer wireless distances and improved immunity to interference, plus coexistence with other wireless systems.

Frequency hopping method for reliable wireless transmission

Trusted Wireless technology uses the frequency hopping method of FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum). With this method, the transmitter and receiver constantly change the radio frequency. A short transmission takes place on each channel.
Communication is therefore particularly immune to interference as the wireless modules are not "left" on just one channel. In addition, the frequency hopping method also increases resistance to tapping significantly.
