In our three-day training sequence, you obtain the know-how for coordinating and implementing the required activities for machine functional safety. The total functional safety process is separated into eight phases (P0 to P7). This structuring allows for the comprehensive, predictable - and thus comprehensible - achievement of all safety-related requirements. On all three training days, you work in small groups to learn the process requirements on a real sample machine.
The second day of this training sequence covers the necessary steps for the specification of safety functions (Phase 2) for validation planning (Phase 3) and for the implementation of the safety functions (Phase 4). The procedural approach for each phase will be highlighted using an example safety function. For practical application, you will determine the relevant data and activities and define them. You will learn about the form which the documentation of work results can take. For example, you can document the work results in your training documents.
