On-site process support for the risk analysis and assessment in accordance with the Low-Voltage Directive and EMC Directive
The revised editions of the EMC Directive (electromagnetic compatibility) and the Low-Voltage Directive came into force on April 20, 2016. One of the most important updates is that it is now explicitly required that a risk analysis and assessment is carried out and documented. We will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the processes and methods required in order to carry out the risk analysis and assessment with respect to electrical hazards and hazardous electromagnetic influences. Furthermore, we will explain the legal context.
During consultation, a Phoenix Contact expert will explain how to use the specific documentation templates. He/she will explain what needs to be recorded in the relevant document and the order in which this should be done. The verification documents completed by you are used as the basis for CE marking in compliance with the directives.
