The space-saving extension for the modular Inline I/O modules: compact and flat Inline Block I/Os. Pre-assembled devices in block design can be used to integrate a fixed number of I/Os into your network or bus system. You benefit considerably in terms of handling and costs particularly with low I/O volume, as I/O modules and bus couplers are combined into a single device.

Inline Block IO is designed to be space saving: 55 mm flat and 95 or 156 mm wide. With these dimensions they are optimized for use in terminal boxes.

For the input and output combination you can choose between consistent digital, consistent analog or mixed assignments.

Do you want to choose the assignment of your I/O device yourself and implement more inputs than outputs for example? Phoenix Contact offers digital I/O devices with freely selectable channel function. This also eliminates the need for parameterization, as the I/O device detects whether a sensor or actuator is connected.

The Inline plugs on the individual I/O terminals are wired according to the module using 2, 3 or 4-conductor connection technology. This saves additional jumpering.

Color coding and unique numbering also ensure easy handling. In addition, I/O modules with motion control functions or wireless connection complete the portfolio.
