Phoenix Contact

Coronavirus

Information on the current supply situation in the Phoenix Contact Group.

Dear customers and business partners,

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, Phoenix Contact has been taking continuous action to ensure safe business operations and to minimize disruptions to our global supply chain. We have been successful with this approach over the past few months and, in the current climate of rising infections, it remains our top priority.

A task force has been active at our headquarters since March, continuously monitoring progress and adopting measures and rules for dealing with the pandemic. We have therefore been able to avoid chains of infection at all of our locations and to react with consideration to individual cases of the illness. Since March, it has been obligatory to wear face masks, to observe social distancing rules, and to follow hand hygiene measures at all of our locations. Moreover, the vast majority of our employees in administrative areas have been following home or mobile working principles. In our production facilities, separating different shifts from each other has ensured that the various teams of employees do not come into physical contact, preventing the risk of infection spreading in this way.

Since August, our employees at the central Blomberg, Bad Pyrmont, Paderborn, Lemgo, and Schieder facilities have had the benefit of access to an in-house testing center, meaning that employees returning from travels and those from production and logistics who cannot always maintain the prescribed distances can be tested regularly. Because we work with a renowned laboratory, the test results are quickly available.

Not a single aspect of the global Phoenix Contact supply chain has been influenced or endangered by the pandemic. We have already put regulations into place for the upcoming year-end holiday period aimed at enabling logistical operations at the end of the year and a safe return to work in the new year.

Dopad pandemie COVID-19 na smluvní vztahy

Pokud by společnost PHOENIX CONTACT nebyla schopna nebo nemohla realizovat včasné dodávky kvůli pandemii COVID-19 a příslušných opatření (např. uzávěry výrobních závodů a státních hranic, vysoký počet nemocných zaměstnanců, problémy distribučních společností), navzdory potvrzeným termínům dodání, neodkladně by společnost PHOENIX CONTACT o této situaci informovala zákazníky .
