Criteria for yield calculations

Location

Unobstructed sunlight throughout the year.

  • Alignment of solar modules: facing south (locations in northern hemisphere)
  • Tilt angle of solar modules: optimum tilt angle in winter is 60°
  • Shading: consideration of shading caused by buildings or trees in future

Season:

The solar systems have been calculated for the season with the poorest weather (winter). During this time, the solar panels only provide around 1/4 of the daily yield that they provide in the summer months.
