You have chosen to establish an EDI connection with Phoenix Contact for document exchange. In order to provide you with a quick introduction, we have created a roadmap.

Roadmap for EDI connection

  1. Please start by completing the EDI questionnaire.
  2. We will then contact your nominated representatives by phone or e-mail – in order to arrange an appointment and to clarify any technical details.
  3. The master data will first be synchronized at the agreed time.
    • We will either send you the data for products that you have previously ordered, e.g., as an Excel list.
    • Or we will obtain the data from your system and compare it with ours.
  4. Once all technical queries have been resolved, Phoenix Contact will set up EDI access. We will then generate an order using test data.
  5. On successful completion of the test, we will jointly activate the transmission of business documents via EDI.
