N/C contact

The switch contact in the test disconnect socket is an N/C contact. In normal operating mode the contact is closed.

Normal operation without operating plug

The N/C contact function of the FAME 3 system enables normal operation without an additional operating plug. If desired, the plug-in zone can be covered and sealed with a blind plug to prevent unauthorized access.

Automatic leading transformer short circuit

If the protective device is exchanged or the relay is tested, the current transformer is short circuited with transversely inserted plug-in bridges in the test disconnect socket, leading for signal splitting. The short circuit occurs automatically when the test plug is inserted.

If you use the single-position service plug, you can simply loop in the test equipment into the current path via the 4 mm test plug socket.
