Analysis/inspection

Process for implementing the requirements for the safety of machinery

We analyze your processes and identify optimizations

For legal protection, you must be able to demonstrate that you have performed all the required steps set out in the EMC and Low Voltage Directives by means of thorough and complete documentation.

Does your company already have a process in place for this?

We would be happy to review the status quo and recommend any necessary optimizations.

Conformity analysis according to the EMC Directive

In the case of the analysis for the European EMC Directive, you will first receive a basic introductory consultation regarding the legal context and relevant terms. We will explain the conformity assessment procedure to you, including the formal obligations according to the EMC Directive. In the next step, we will analyze the basic requirements for your conformity process or also for a specific item of equipment as an option in the form of an interview. Here, the focus is on the completeness of the required documentation. We will then summarize the results and provide recommendations for how to proceed further. You will know whether all of the documents required for the conformity assessment process according to the EMC Directive are present.

Conformity inspection according to the EMC Directive

During the inspection, the methods and processes of the procedures for assessing conformity that are specified in the European EMC Directive for electrical equipment and fixed installations will first be explained. The procedure implemented in the company for this process is documented in the form of a checklist. This inspection provides the manufacturer with a transparent overview of the entire process as well as the corresponding technical documentation to achieve conformity with the directive. The product will therefore be designed and manufactured in accordance with generally accepted codes of practice. You will know whether the documentation required for the conformity assessment process according to the EMC Directive is complete in terms of content and any required measures to improve system availability can be planned independently. Measures to detect and eliminate noise emission and interference can be implemented at an early stage.

Conformity analysis according to the Low Voltage Directive

In the case of the analysis for the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD), you will first receive a basic introductory consultation regarding the legal context and relevant terms. We will explain the conformity assessment procedure to you, including the formal obligations according to the LVD. In the next step, we will analyze the basic requirements for the protection objectives for electrical equipment or also for the conformity process for a specific item of electrical equipment as an option in the form of an interview. You will know whether all of the documents required for the conformity assessment process according to the LVD are present.
