The LCD monitor, LCD TOUCH 5012 A PANEL is a remote terminal mounted in a sturdy aluminum cast housing. The completely enclosed aluminum cast housing has IP54 protection. The LCD monitors can therefore also be used in harsh environmental conditions. The LCD monitors are fixed locally, directly on a machine, using a support bracket joint (top/bottom) or a ball base (top/bottom).
The monitor images generated by the graphics chip in the PC are transmitted to the LCD monitor in digital form (up to 35 m). Digital transmission ensures high image quality, even for applications with high levels of electromagnetic interference.
The connection cable between the LCD monitor and the PC is connected to a special PC plug-in card (i IPC xxxx). Mouse and key commands are transferred via the connection cable, as well as the video signals.
The LCD 5012 D IP monitor from Phoenix Contact is supplied with a software keyboard as standard. The software keyboard is installed on the industrial PC (IPC xxxx) with which the LCD monitor is connected. All the alphanumeric keys on a standard keyboard are available on the software keyboard. It is also possible to switch over to a separate numeric keypad.
There are five extra keys on the lower left-hand side of the LC display. With the additional keys, the software keyboard can be activated, the task can be changed (Alt+Tab), the right-hand mouse button can be activated, or the brightness can be changed. One of the keys is designed for user-specific functions.
