INTERBUS host controller board for AEG-Schneider Automation controllers
The IBS TSX/Q CB/I-T INTERBUS controller board makes it possible to connect the INTERBUS system to Modicon TSX Quantum PLCs. The connection to the controller system is either direct using the LMS bus in the central element or, with a reduced scope of performance, in expansion racks.
Data exchange with the INTERBUS devices takes place using the control system's internal SRAM, which is configured by means of the ConCept/ Modsoft configurator. IBS A25 DCB/I-T connects the INTERBUS system to the Modicon TSX A250, A350 and A500 PLCs. The connection to the PLC is effected using the Modnet 1/SFB-. The board emulates up to 15 expansion racks via this connection to the A250, and up to 16 expansion racks with the A350/A500. The INTERBUS devices are portrayed as system DEP... and DAP... modules in these emulated expansion racks.
The controller board can be installed in any slot in the central or expansion rack. Connection of the 24 V DC supply voltage is made separately via plug-in COMBICON connectors.
The IBS A25/P CB/I-T makes it possible to connect the INTERBUS system to the Modicon TSX A250 PLC. The controller board is a direct PSB (parallel system bus) device and can be installed in any slot in the I/O area of the A250's central rack. The IB ST stations are emulated in the ALD PLC software as chassis. As with system I/O modules, data exchange with INTERBUS devices takes place via the A250's signal latch, which is configured using the components list editor.
System-specific parameterization of the INTERBUS system and the controller board can be performed centrally at the controller board in PRAM, which is a plug-in module in the IBS A25 DCB/I-T and a fixed module with the IBS TSX/Q CB/I-T.
