The INTERBUS Inline thermistor terminal detects the overtemperature of a connected motor by evaluating the PTC thermistor integrated in the motor. What is new is that it is possible to differentiate between an alarm and a fault.
The connected thermocouple is also monitored for short circuits. The error status is reported to the controller via INTERBUS and the motor can be switched off.
As with all Inline automation terminals, the thermistor terminal can be snapped on and mounted on a DIN rail without tools.
INTERBUS Inline terminals can be marked using hinged labeling fields. The fields have insert cards that can be labeled individually according to the application. In addition, the proven ZBFM-6... zack marker strip can be used to mark the terminal points.
Additional features include:
- PTC thermistor according to DIN 44081 and DIN 44082
- Comprehensive error diagnostics: alarm, fault, short-circuit indication
